How you can reach the island

BY FERRIES
From Piraeus port, you can take the “fast ferry” and there are almost 5 itineraries per week from Piraeus to Kalymnos all year round. This may change depending on the season and the weather. The route is also served by conventional ships and the ferry company that operates mainly this connection is called “Blue Star Ferries”.

BY AIRPLANE
The airport of Kalymnos is located a couple of km from Pothia, the capital of Kalymnos island. Kalymnos airport works any seasson and receives only flights from/to Athens.
Every time a flight arrives, there is a bus and taxis outside the airport to serve the passengers. Sky Express is the Airline company that mainly runs this connection.

BY AIRPLANE THROUGH KOS
By airplane through the international airport of Kos! Especially in summer there are too many flights from Athens and all around the world. After you arrive at the airport you have to get to the of Mastihari port by taxi or bus. The port is only 5minutes far from the airport. There are 2 boats that leave from KOS to KALYMNOS. One fast (20 minutes to Kalymnos) and one slow (1 hour to Kalymnos) There is connection all day in summer.
